Today's Youth is very privileged and has access to facilities never seen before. Establishing a website within a matter of minutes, being able to promote their art and talent with the click of a button this generation can achieve great heights of accomplishments. In today's day and age, we are extremely aware of the environmental status and surroundings, climate change, mental health issues, gender inequalities, and a plethora of issues the world is still combatting.


We, as the youth, have the potential and brilliance to make an ineffable change in our world. Bring about a difference that's beyond the wildest dreams of people. It's on us to determine, whether the changes will take a turn for better days or far worse ones.


Whether we use our adroitness and skills to increase Gender equality. To battle Climate change. To help in eradicating poverty. To tackle mental health issues. Or if we use it to spread darkness and hate. To propagate violence. To cause harm to life.


The UN has been working closely with youth-led and youth-focused organizations and has been coordinating efforts by various intergovernmental organizations to enhance effective participation and empowerment of youth to combat various social issues.

It is now upon us to be the change. With my art series, Youth is the Change, I will be raising awareness about the various issues taking place and will be taking the first step towards changing our world for the better.

Law for the Man or Man for the Law? : A discussion in light of the 50th anniversary of Kesavananda Bharati case 66 days. 701 pages worth of judgment, with a unique yet equally fundamental opinion for 11 of the 13 judges that presided over the case. Needless to say, Kesavananda Bharati vs. State of Kerala was the most important landmark case that made it to the pages of Indian history. The case was concluded on 24th April, 1973 with the judge's ruling acting as a temporary fix for the long running disputes between the State and the Court and aiming to provide an answer for two principal questions; these namely being a) How far can the government work for the welfare of the society when it is at the expense of an individual's fundamental rights? Cultural appropriation I dream of Jeannie Today I wanted to discuss cultural appropriation in one of the most famous series of its time i.e I dream of Jeanie. I Dream of Jeannie was written by Sidney Sheldon from 1965-70. The show is about American astronaut Major Nelson, who accidentally rescues a genie after finding her magical bottle on a deserted island. Although Nelson sets Jeannie free, she immediately falls in love with him and chooses to stay with her new “master.” It was one of the most viewed series of its time and was also nominated for an Emmy. And even today ‘I dream of Jeannie’ attracts many viewers. But sadly, the show was full of stereotypes and showed negative versions of Arabs and Muslims.
