            Should Big business houses deserve to spend their money in whichever way they want?
Hello everyone. Today, I will be writing both for and against the motion i.e Big business houses deserve to spend their money in whichever way they want. This is just my side of the argument that I wanted to put forward for discussion and I am in no way forcing my thoughts about this topic on anyone.

For:

The big business houses have toiled through and taken risks to be at the place that they are. It is their hard-earned money and in a democratic society, they shall use their money as they like, as long as it does not harm others.

Secondly, It is because of the investment and circulation of money that economic opportunities are created, people get jobs and the economy thrives. And If such big businesses do not spend, then money will not get circulated and the economy will stagnate. Therefore it is necessary that businesses are allowed to spend money in whichever way they want.

For eg- It is only when the rich invest and spend money that the service industry gets a boost and more job opportunities are created like travelling, hotels, etc.

It is as simple as this when money rotates, Only then can the economy thrive.

Therefore I believe Big business houses deserve to spend their money in whichever way they want.

Good Morning everyone! Today, I, Myra Agrawal will be speaking against the motion i.e Do big business houses deserve to spend their money in whichever way they want.

Speakers, Big business houses cannot spend their money in whichever way they want simply because In a public limited company the public has also invested their money into their companies and therefore it is expected that the main promoters i.e big business houses shall use money with care and caution and for a good cause.

Therefore it is expected of them to neither fix the salaries too high for themselves nor spend the company money lavishly on non-productive use.

Secondly, If there is not an equitable distribution of wealth generated by these business houses, then this will lead to serious social inequality in society which leads to an array of problems such as social exclusion, etc.

Finally, I would like to end by saying that the ostentatious use of wealth generates ill will in society.



Therefore I believe Big business houses don’t deserve to spend their money in whichever way they want.

I Dream of Jeannie was written by Sidney Sheldon from 1965-70. The show is about American astronaut Major Nelson, who accidentally rescues a genie after finding her magical bottle on a deserted island.
