Feminism in Expression
What is Women's Empowerment? It is promoting equality for women. It is giving women a voice so that they can stand up against all these systemic injustices taking place against them. Feminism is clearly defined as equal rights for women.Feminism in no way places women at a higher pedestal than men and it is ignorant to think that feminists hate men or Men can't be feminists.
In the drawing, each girl is different from the other, with different traits and characteristics. But they are all strong women who will change the world for the better. That's what feminism is: Freedom. It is giving women an equal chance to shine in their field, to freely show their passion and abilities. It lets them feel comfortable in their own skin where they don't have to hide their abilities because of societal pressures.
Feminism or gender empowerment is important because Gender inequality is a 2-way street. Taboos like men shouldn’t cry, men shouldn’t wear pink, etc. also negatively affect men. Therefore, If we promote Women's empowerment like our model does, We are helping remove the taboos that exist against women that also benefit Men.
Like I stated, Women have always been less empowered than women and there have always been systemic injustices against them. By empowering and by following our model we are trying to remove these injustices that have been in our world since the beginning of time. If we don’t and decrease the empowerment of women fewer and fewer women will come up and prove themselves, leading to people further believing that women don’t deserve equality further decreasing their empowerment. And this is just a vicious cycle that we will get caught in.
We need to let women's sense of individuality shine bright. Given a chance women can change the world on a scale that's unimaginable and sets a precedent for all future generations to come.
